These Terms of Use ("Agreement") govern your use of Stock Certificate Vault ("App"), provided by AstroCubic ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
1. Service Overview
Stock Certificate Vault is a personal record-keeping application that allows users to organize and store stock holding information in the style of classic paper stock certificates.
The App is not a brokerage service and does not provide securities trading, brokerage account opening, order placement, investment management, or any real-money trading functionality.
2. Not Financial Advice
Prices, valuation amounts, return rates, notes, alerts, and other information displayed in the App are provided solely for personal record-keeping and reference purposes.
Nothing in the App constitutes investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and any resulting gains or losses.
3. Market Data and User Data
The App may attempt to retrieve current market prices from publicly available data sources or display values entered by the user.
Market data may be delayed, unavailable, inaccurate, interrupted, or limited depending on the data provider or the characteristics of a particular security. For securities without publicly available price data, the App may continue displaying manually entered values.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any market data.
4. User Records and Backup
Information entered by users—including holdings, share quantities, average purchase prices, notes, transaction history, and related records—is stored on the user's device or in iCloud backup and synchronization services selected by the user.
Users are responsible for verifying and backing up important information before deleting the App, replacing a device, or restoring from backup.
5. Free Features and Pro Vault
The free version of the App may limit certain features, including the number of certificates that can be stored.
Pro Vault may provide additional functionality, including but not limited to:
- Unlimited certificate storage
- iCloud synchronization and backup
- App Lock
- Face ID authentication
- Dividend reminders
- Certificate style customization
- Advanced certificate layout options
Available features may change over time.
6. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
Monthly and yearly Pro subscriptions are offered as auto-renewable subscriptions.
The subscription title, duration, price, and any available free trial are displayed within the App and in the App Store purchase sheet before purchase.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings on your device.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Subscription pricing may vary by country or region and is displayed in the App Store before purchase.
7. Lifetime Purchase
If offered, the Lifetime Purchase is a non-consumable in-app purchase. It can be restored using the same Apple ID used for the original purchase and does not automatically renew.
8. Payments, Refunds, and Cancellations
All purchases, subscriptions, billing, cancellations, and refunds are processed by Apple through the App Store.
Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policies and must be requested directly through Apple.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App
- Attempt to bypass subscription, purchase, security, or backup features
- Infringe upon the rights of others while using the App.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AstroCubic shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:
- inaccurate or unavailable market data
- user input errors
- data loss
- backup or restore failures
- device or network issues or
- investment decisions or financial losses made by the user.
Your use of the App is at your own risk.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update this Agreement from time to time to reflect changes in App features, applicable laws, or App Store policies.
Updated versions become effective when published. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
