Privacy Policy
Effective: July 17, 2026
AstroCubic takes the privacy of Paw Cursor users and their recordings seriously. The app's primary data processing takes place on the user's iPad.
1. Information the App May Access
When the user consents to and enables recording, the app may use the following permissions and data:
2. Recording and Storage
Recording starts only when the user enables it in Settings. Camera video, screen recording, touch timeline, and processing state are stored in the app's local storage. When the user permits Photos access, a copy of the camera video may also be added to Photos.
Recordings can be deleted from Play Sessions. Deleting the app removes data in the app's storage, but copies saved to Photos must be deleted separately by the user.
3. Face Detection and Cat-Face Masks
The face privacy feature uses Apple's on-device vision technology to locate face regions in camera video and cover them with a cat-face image. Face analysis and masking are performed on the device. Face templates and biometric identifiers are not sent to AstroCubic servers.
The app cannot guarantee that every face will be detected or completely covered, particularly when a face is small, obstructed, or poorly lit. Review recordings before sharing them.
4. External Transfer and Third Parties
Paw Cursor does not use its own user accounts or advertising tracking SDKs, and does not upload or sell recordings or play history to AstroCubic servers. If the user enables iCloud Photos or device backup, data may be synchronized under Apple's settings and policies.
5. Children and Pets
This app is a supervised pet-play tool. It does not create pet or child profiles and does not request a name, age, or location.
6. Retention and Choices
Local play sessions may remain until the user deletes them or removes the app. Camera, microphone, and Photos permissions can be changed at any time in iPad Settings. The play experience remains available with recording turned off.
7. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy when features or applicable requirements change. Visit the Support page with questions.
