These Terms of Use govern the use of Paw Cursor (the “App”), provided by AstroCubic (“we” or “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Overview

Paw Cursor is an iPad play app that lets cats chase and tap moving visual targets. When recording is enabled, the App can store and replay camera video, screen recordings, and a touch activity timeline on the device.

2. Safe Use and Supervision

You must supervise your cat while it uses the App. Place the iPad on a stable surface and take reasonable steps to prevent falls, overheating, liquid exposure, scratches, or bite damage. A screen protector and sturdy case are recommended.

The App is not veterinary care, behavioral treatment, or a guarantee of exercise. Stop play immediately if your cat shows distress, anxiety, aggression, or fatigue.

3. Guided Access and Ending Play

Guided Access is an accessibility feature provided by Apple. The App may explain its status, but does not guarantee activation, continued operation, or prevention of every gesture that could leave the App. Check Guided Access on the device before play.

4. Recording, Face Masks, and Your Responsibility

Camera and screen recording depend on your explicit settings and device permissions. Videos may be incomplete or fail to process due to device state, storage, app switching, or system limitations.

Face masking is a privacy aid and does not guarantee detection of every face or complete anonymization. Review recordings and obtain any required consent before sharing them with others.

5. User Content and Storage

You are responsible for managing and, when necessary, backing up your recordings and play history. Data may be lost because of app deletion, low storage, operating system issues, or user deletion.

6. Prohibited Uses

• Illegal recording or infringement of another person's privacy or rights
• Use that harms an animal or person
• Attempts to bypass security, recording, or purchase functions or disrupt operation
• Use that violates applicable law or App Store policies

7. Intellectual Property

The App, name, interface, graphics, sounds, and related materials belong to us or their lawful owners. You receive a limited right to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee a pet's response, uninterrupted recording, face-detection accuracy, data retention, or uninterrupted operation under every device condition. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we limit liability for indirect loss related to device damage, data loss, recording failure, or use of the App.

9. Changes

We may update these terms to reflect feature, policy, or legal changes. Updated terms take effect when posted on this page.
